Organic and All Natural Sheets Bright, white cotton sheets feel natural, but conventional cotton production uses 24% of the world's chemical pesticides and fertilizers, yet occupies only 3% of the world's farmland. Much of the bedding available from major retailers is made from polyester, and along with permanent-press sheets is often treated with formaldehyde. Green Home recommends using bedding made from organic cotton, 100% chemically untreated cotton, or hemp. All of our sheets at Green Home are made with organically grown materials and designed with non-toxic dyes.

Green Home believes it's especially important for you to have sheets and pillowcases made of organic fibers. This truth about outgassing is especially important to understand when it comes to bedding and clothing.
You will spend about one third of your life in direct contact with your sheets and pillowcases. Given that simple fact, combined with the truth explained above, Green Home believes that there is no acceptable level of outgassing for sheets and pillowcases. Even a little bit is too much.
