This is an extremely powerful cleaning agent, so use it sparingly. We know one man whose gallon jug of Citra-Solv has lasted for eight years of regular household use, and another who uses it to clean diesel engine parts. Citra-Solv is an adhesive solvent, and can even be used as a paint thinner.
Spot test fabrics and fiber materials before using. Do not use Citra-Solv on silk, wool, or any plastics made of styrene or polystyrene, such as styrofoam or some plastic bottles. Be careful to control the dilution -- a little bit goes a long way, and Citra-Solv is a powerful solvent.
